On average we try to purchase copiers with fewer
than 100,000 copies on the meter. Some buyers
want to compare a copier meter to a cars odometer,
but 100,000 copies on a copier are not like 100,000
miles on a car. It is more like 10,000 miles
on a car equal 100,000 copies on a copier. Would
you buy a used car with 10,000 miles on it? As
long as it looked good and drove well the answer
would be yes. With new digital technology the
average copier (30-45 cpm, copies per minute)
should last a million copies and even more on
larger copiers. I have seen larger 75 cpm copiers
with 5-10 million copies on them and they run
great.
Q: Are refurbished copiers as good as new ones?
A: Yes, but something is only new once, but if properly maintained should last should last as long as a new copier.

At the warehouse we inspect each piece of equipment for; Make and model, low copy meters, cosmetics, specifications, options and how it passes a sample copy. Out of every 100 copiers we look at we only purchase the top 5% because we only want the best for our customers. Using these guidelines we eliminate most of the problems before we start refurbishing the equipment. After the copiers arrive at our facilities they undergo the strict refurbishing process. Each copier undergoes diagnostics, inspection, cleaning and copy quality process before it is ready for sale. On average each copier takes approximately 6-8 hours to thoroughly complete this process before it ends up in our customers’ offices. We take pride in what we do because we know we never have a second chance to make a first impression.
